Yoga Retreat in India: A Journey of Transformation
It’s true what they say: the best dreams happen when you’re wide awake! Endless gratitude to Rishikul Yogshala for not only providing me with the skills and knowledge to share my love of yoga with the world but also for making all my dreams come true. Here, I share my yoga journey, a story of love and success.
From Nepal to Global Horizons
Graduating from a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) program in Nepal was just the beginning. Arriving in Pokhara, Nepal, I was filled with fear and uncertainty about my future. Over the course of four weeks, I developed a deeper understanding of myself and began to peel away the layers of protection I had built around my heart. I met a group of strangers who have since become the most important people in my life, providing unconditional love and support exactly when I needed it. While I received a certificate to instruct yoga, what I was truly gifted was a better way of living.
Whole and Happily Ever After
With newfound courage and self-confidence, I embarked on a solo adventure across Southeast Asia. Miraculously, doors continued to open as I maintained the positive momentum of my yoga practice. I began to trust that if I followed my heart and deepest truths, I would always be guided by a greater force.
My journey led me to the Hariharalaya Yoga and Meditation Retreat Center in Cambodia, where I had the life-changing opportunity to share my teachings with guests from around the world. For six months, I taught and practiced alongside an inspiring team, expanding my yoga family and deepening my belief in yoga’s transformative power—lessons first learned at Rishikul Yogshala.
A Continuing Journey
Now, over a year later, I have recently completed a 300-hour Yoga Teacher Training (TTC) with Rishikul Yogshala in Rishikesh. This achievement means I now hold a 500-hour Yoga Teacher Training certification and am equipped with the confidence to dedicate my passion to teaching others. My beautiful yoga journey continues with a heart full of wisdom and love. The connections within my Rishikul community know no boundaries, and I am blessed with endless support from my yoga soulmates as I pursue my future aspirations.
These aspirations and connections have inspired me to curate my own yoga retreat with a like-minded soul in Thailand. Join me for a 7-day all-inclusive yoga and meditation retreat at Faasai Resort and Spa in beautiful Chanthaburi, Thailand. Practice yoga on the beach, connect with serene nature, surround yourself with an inspiring community, enjoy delicious vegetarian cuisine, laugh often, and most importantly, fall in love with all the special parts of yourself to leave feeling happy and whole again.
