Rishikul Yogshala: Your Sanctuary for Yoga Training and Retreats

Founded in Rishikesh, the world capital of yoga, over five years ago, Rishikul Yogshala has been dedicated to spreading health and contentment through the traditional art of yoga. This May, we are relocating to a new location to continue inspiring and teaching budding yogis in a serene and contemplative environment. We prioritize our students’ comfort, ensuring that our yogi’s home extends a feeling of joy, warmth, and happiness—like a comforting hug.

The View

Our new home is situated in the Jonk Village area of Rishikesh, just a ten-minute walk from Ram Jhula but tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the crowds. The property offers breathtaking views of the Himalayas, which surround us on three sides. You can enjoy the sight of rice fields and mango trees, enhancing your cultural experience by observing the locals at work and play.

The Location

Accessible only by footpath, our location ensures a tranquil environment with no cars, though you might encounter the occasional dog, cow, bike, or person. This unique setting offers a peaceful atmosphere while providing a genuine taste of India. The Bhoothnath Temple overlooks our premises, and within a five-minute walk, you can explore the forest or enjoy the Ganga. You’ll also find yourself surrounded by the vibrant yoga community; local cafes often host fellow yogis eager to share their passion.

Your Comfort

During our intensive yoga teacher training courses, we prioritize your comfort. Our spacious rooms, each individually decorated, include en-suite marble bathrooms with hot and cold water, and all modern facilities to ensure a comfortable stay. Your accommodation should be a haven for concentrating on your studies and immersing yourself in the yogic lifestyle.

The Yoga Halls

Our new facility features two spacious yoga halls on the top floor, allowing you to start and end your practice with stunning views of the Himalayas. The halls are decorated in a serene manner, and we provide all necessary equipment for your practice.

The Dining Experience

Meal times are a highlight with our full-service restaurant and garden area where you can sit, read, eat, and socialize with fellow course mates. All meals are freshly prepared according to Ayurvedic vegetarian guidelines by our dedicated cooks.

The Spa

After a day of yoga practice, our on-site Ayurvedic spa offers treatments tailored to your needs by highly trained experts. Whether you’re interested in a massage or Panchakarma treatment, you can discover your Doshas and learn how to live an Ayurvedic lifestyle for better health. Nearby shops and cafes also cater to all your needs, from beautiful stationery to yoga mats and bags.
